The National Latsis Prize 2013 to Prof. David Sander, Swiss Center for Affective Sciences, University of Geneva


Prof. David Sander, Director of the Swiss Center for Affective Sciences, has been awarded with the National Latsis Prize 2013.

This Latsis prize has singled out a research work conducted at the crossroad of several disciplines, a key element of NCCR Affective Sciences. The prize is recognition that this type of interdisciplinary research is important for society, and can bring outstanding innovative results.

Worth 100,000 Swiss francs, the National Latsis Prize is one of the most prestigious scientific awards in Switzerland. Each year, the Swiss National Science Foundation presents the prize on behalf of the Latsis Foundation to researchers under the age of 40, in recognition of their special contribution to science in Switzerland.
